Coda MCP Server
34-tool open-source integration layer connecting AI systems with Coda documents. Built to enable AI agents to read, write, and manipulate Coda docs programmatically.
Impact
“We've been playing with your MCP as well and it has helped us think through our own design—so great to speak directly with you. Re creating tables—big yes! In our own testing this has been one of the biggest game changers.”
— Bharat Batra, Coda Engineer · October 2024
Technical Details
- Stack: TypeScript, MCP SDK, Coda API
- Tools: 34 distinct operations covering documents, tables, rows, pages, and formulas
- Design: Comprehensive coverage with clear documentation and error handling
PolicyAide
An 8-agent system for policy research using tournament-style adversarial testing. Drawing on AI safety research (debate as alignment), mechanism design, and deliberative democracy theory, proposals compete head-to-head, weak arguments get eliminated, and stronger positions emerge through adversarial iteration.
Council makes the decision; PolicyAide makes sure we've stress-tested it first.

Built for elected leaders...especially those without dedicated staff...offering tailored support to help them stay on top of their municipal duties.

Council Work
4.5 years as an elected official on Elgin City Council (second term) informs everything I build. I've voted on emergency aid for homeless residents, navigated how local government protects people from federal immigration overreach, and seen firsthand which decisions require human judgment and which processes beg for automation.
Experience Highlights
- • Budget deliberations and resource allocation decisions
- • Policy development across multiple domains
- • Constituent services and community engagement
- • Accountability oversight for city-funded programs
This practitioner perspective—inside government, not consulting from outside—is what makes my civic AI work different.
